Transistors Inverter Circuit

This post is for those searching for simple transistors inverter circuit. Even a learner can construct this circuits!

If you are the type asking “can this circuit work?” the answer is YES! That is; if you make use of the components in this circuit or their equivalents and follow the connections as it is in this circuit. The Circuit was built, constructed, and tested.

Components for this Project
  1. Bipolar Junction Transistor (BJT)
  • 6822A (2)
  1. Field Effect Transistor (FET)
  • IRF3205 (4)
  1. Resistor
  • 100KΩ (2)
  • 15KΩ (2)
  • 10KΩ (2)
  1. Non Polarized Capacitor
  • 104 (3)
  • 474J, 400V (1)
  1. Center Tapped Transformer
  • 12V – 0V – 12V, 10A

The circuit is a simple DC – AC power inverter based on transistors that can output 100W to 1000W using 10V to 12V battery and centre tapped transformer (12V-0V-12V, 10A).

The two NPN bipolar junction transistors (BJTs) are configured as astable multivibrator or oscillator, each with half cycle out of phase at frequencies between 50Hz to 60Hz. The four (two for each half cycles) power MOSFETs (IRF3205) amplifies each half of the AC voltage generated by the oscillator. After this, is thence fed to the power transformer which then steps up the voltage from 12V to 230V. However, one can increase the output power more by adding more power MOSFETs in parallel, greater power transformer, and larger battery power bank.

      1. Interesting, yes. Don’t stop yet, though.

OK, now shape the inverter waveform and output into as “pure or quality” of a true sine-wave as one prudently can, and it might become more efficient and able to power more needs.

  1. can u tell me the basic concept to check or to make a circuits. I want or know that input goes which which part how is it work. my whtsapp no. is +919811448910
