The simple 50W amplifier circuit diagram is a simple circuit which you can easily build. It requires no much effort, because it is base on readymade amplifier integrated circuits (ICs). Thus, very few external components will make the amplifier complete to work. The sound ICs of this amplifier is the common sound IC – the TDA2030. The amplifier has two channels, each is a TDA2030 bridge amplifier circuit. The TDA2030 is a Hi-fi audio amplifier sound IC which can output 14W peak (RMS) power. Therefore, by bridging the IC we get 28W peak (RMS) power at each channel. Thus from the two channels, we can expect a total of 56W peak (RMS) from the amplifier.
The four ICs should have efficient heat sink for mounting them firmly on. Applying some thermal paste between the ICs and the heat sink will make cooling of these integrated circuits effective.
For the 50W simple amplifier circuit, these are the components you will need.
- TDA2030 – 4
- Fixed Resistors – 20
- Potentiometer – 1
- Ceramic Capacitors (Non polarized Capacitors) – 4
- Electrolytic Capacitors (Polarized Capacitors) – 6
- 8 Ohms 30W to 60W loudspeaker – 2
